I got some GMADE Ultra Trac tires and wheels from http://www.junfac.com and they are AWESOME!  Black & Chrome Wheels: Diameter: 80mm(3.2") Width: 90mm(3.5") Offset: 38mm(1.5") Ultra Trac Tires: Height: 162mm(6.4") Width: 111mm(4.4") Diameter: 80mm(3.2") The Ultra Trac tires fit GMADE wheels AND Imex Jumbo Maxx wheels. The GMADE wheels fit T/E-Maxx, Savage, LST, MGT, Terra Crusher, TNX, and Clodbuster, TXT-1, and Juggernaut. How can this be? The GMADE wheels come with 12mm-->14mm adapters. The tires are $25/pr and the wheels are $18.50/pr at www.JUNFAC.com so this is surely the cheapest way to run Jumbo Maxx size wheels and tires on your Clod because you don't need to buy extra adapters! And the Junfac prices on the GMADE stuff is cheaper than eBay too AFAIK. Here is the wheel package:  Here is what you get in each package: 2 Gmade wheels 2 block lock nuts 2 Gmade 12mm-->14mm adapters  The chrome on the wheels is like a mirror! I haven't seen rc parts with chrome this nice before. It's ever bit as nice as the the chrome on Pro-Line's wheels if not better. The big chrome piece that comes with the wheels is actually the wheel nut! Sweet! It has a lock nut built in to it:  The brass hex from the Clod fits into the adapter, then the wheel goes on:  The wheels have a unique design molded into them: 
The tires are very soft and the compound is very tacky. These are the best feeling tires I've ever had!!!! The name Ultra Trac is very fitting! They are many times stickier than Imex Swamp Dawgs, or Proline Masher 2K, or Imex Baja. Here is the tire package:  Here you can see that they are similar in size ta a stock Clod tire. The Ultra Trac tire is wider and a tiny bit taller.  Here you can see the back of the wheel with 14mm hex built in and the super aggresive tread of the Ultra Trac tire:  The tread design on the tires is quite unique as well. It looks like a series of 8's and 0's:  I tested them today on grass, dirt, and pavement. They are awesome! They have WAY more traction going up hill than stock tires, Bajas, Pullers, Jugg tires, Swamp Dawgs or any other tire I've had.    With my Stock Clod I could instantly see a difference. I cannot wait to get my crawler together and test them on the rocks where they were made to be used!!! Once I get my crawler going I will post pics of that setup and give my impressions of the tires' performance!!! So you can see I REALLY LOVE these tires and wheels. They are the coolest looking wheels and tires I've seen. And from the testing I've done so far (bashing stock clod on various hills and terrains) they perform as good as they look. |
